Interactive Media Developer of Learning and Performance Solutions

Innovative Learning Group has an opening for a full-time interactive media developer of learning and performance improvement solutions. This individual will work onsite in our office in Royal Oak, Michigan, and program our client deliverables.

The successful candidate is passionate about learning and performance, attracted to an entrepreneurial company, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where accountability and taking initiative are rewarded.

Primary Responsibilities

• Programming e-learning course functionality using Flash, HTML, and JavaScript
• Developing content in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate, Lectora, Captivate, or other similar tools
• Inserting graphics, audio, and video into courses

Minimum Requirements

Candidates must:

• Have at least two years of experience in programming e-learning courses
• Be an experienced programmer in more than one programming language
• Be able to learn to use new tools quickly with little assistance/supervision
• Be client-focused, team-focused, flexible, organized, and detail oriented
• Be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
• Be able to arrange e-learning content in a way that is both pleasing to the eye and creates an effective user interface
• Be able to work an average of 45 hours per week

Preferred Requirements

The successful candidate will have many or all of the qualifications listed below:

• Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, information technology, or similar field
• Have at least two years of experience with Flash programming
• Experience programming using Articulate, Lectora, and Captivate
• Experience using sound editing, video editing, and graphic editing software
• Experience developing for mobile devices
