You’re sold on performance support (PS), but with an LMS full of eLearning courses, your organization isn’t ready to switch to a PS approach. How can you use your existing assets to create working solutions that prove its worth? Using a systems training case study, Innovative Learning Group Lead Instructional Designer and Learning Consultant Susan Fisher will show how conventional eLearning content can be repurposed to meet Gottfredson & Mosher’s Five Moments of Learning Need.

Together, you will explore transformation of the course into a blended solution within the original authoring tool (Storyline 360), looking at content, user interface, and navigation redesign to optimize usability for each moment of need.

At the end of this session, you will be able to:

  • Map content found in a typical eLearning course to the moments of learning need.
  • Redesign content to serve the purposes of performance support, explanation, learning reinforcement, and reference.
  • Leverage the capabilities of your authoring tool to make the content easily accessible as needed.
