Innovative Learning Group, Inc. (ILG) and its client, American Axle & Manufacturing Holdings, Inc. (AAM), are the recipients of the Gold MarCom Award in the category of Video/Film/Information Employee Development.

“We at ILG, along with our business partners at AAM, are very pleased to have developed an award-winning solution that encourages employees to learn about career development in an engaging, interactive manner,” says ILG CEO Lisa Toenniges.

ILG, a creator of custom learning solutions, worked with AAM to develop an interactive learning guide that addresses AAM’s need to introduce its new career development approach, while at the same time driving employees to the new AAM career development resource portal. The solution included a video, rolling animation, and interactive illustration. The final illustration details AAM’s approach for both employees and managers, and links them to the resource portal.

“We are thrilled to receive this award and to have this invaluable partnership with ILG. This award showcases our efforts to enhance AAM's development programs and partner with our workforce for success. It is an exciting time for AAM associates; we know that this learning resource will act as a catalyst and ignite our associates to realize their potential,” says AAM Global Director of Talent & Organizational Development Diego Gomez.

MarCom Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. It’s an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals. More than 6,500 entries were submitted from the United States, Canada, and 15 other countries.
