Innovative Learning Group, Inc. (ILG) announced today that Joyce Katona has joined the company as a project manager and instructional designer.

With 25 years’ experience in training and performance improvement, Katona will contribute to ILG’s already robust capabilities by working with clients to determine their needs and provide them with the necessary learning solutions to improve business results. She has applied her skills and knowledge across many projects in a variety of industries, including automotive, insurance, manufacturing, and state government.
Katona also is a special lecturer at Oakland University (OU) in Rochester, Mich. Previously, she was a senior instructional designer at Learning Designs, Inc. in Bloomfield Hills, Mich.
Katona earned a doctorate in education with a focus on organizational leadership and a bachelor’s degree in human resource development from OU. She also has a master’s degree in adult learning from the University of Michigan–Dearborn.
