Denise Renton is a project manager and performance consultant at Innovative Learning Group.
With 25 years’ experience in training and performance improvement, Denise has exceptional collaboration skills, and is able to determine client needs and provide them with the solutions necessary to improve business results. She has applied her skills and knowledge across a number of projects in a variety of industries, including automotive, insurance, facility services, and chemicals.
Denise is fun, energetic, and a good listener. She creates excellent learning and performance support solutions — some of which are award winning — based on solid research and instructional design principles. She was the designer of an interactive learning guide for ILG client American Axle that received a 2014 Gold MarCom Award and a blended-learning solution for ILG client Haworth that received a 2013 Silver Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Award. Denise also has conducted research and comprehensive benchmarking on new-hire orientation and onboarding, and has developed such programs for Meritor and Dow Chemical’s engineering group.
She finds that one of the most interesting aspects of the instructional design field is learning about what other people do in their jobs and how different companies pursue performance improvement for their employees.
Denise has a bachelor’s degree in English from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.
