Innovative Learning Group Wins 2024 ISPI Award of Excellence

TROY, Mich., May 9, 2024 — Innovative Learning Group, Inc. (ILG) is proud to announce it has won an Outstanding Human Performance Communication Award of Excellence from the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) for a communication package highlighting the ways to “put performance first.”

“I’m very excited to accept this award,” says ILG CEO Lisa Toenniges. “Many of us do instructional design for a living but struggle when asked to create training we know won’t solve the problem. We’ve created this communication package to highlight a few ways you can ‘whisper’ in your clients’ ears to improve performance while completing your training projects.”

“Putting Performance First” is a multi-tiered communication package that was delivered to learning and performance improvement professionals. It’s comprised of videos, webinars, in-person presentations, and a robust job aid. The video scenarios are at the core and follow several projects through a typical ADDIE process (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). They also provide best practices to help practitioners move the needle on performance. The video series and job aids are available on the ILG website.

Toenniges accepted the award during ISPI’s 2024 Performance Improvement Conference held in Fort McDowell, Arizona, on May 9.

The Outstanding Human Performance Communication Award of Excellence honors a human performance communication that enables individuals or organizations to achieve excellence in performance improvement.
