Innovative Learning Group Wins Award of Excellence
TROY, Mich., April 27, 2023 — Innovative Learning Group, Inc. (ILG) is proud to announce it has won an Outstanding Human Performance Intervention Award of Excellence from the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) for a project done in partnership with a client in the pharmaceutical industry.
“I’m thrilled to accept this award for our work on this project,” says Gayle Holsworth, senior director, client solutions, and account manager for this client. “Our wonderful team collaborated throughout the process, and provided strategic thinking and solid instructional design that helped our client use competency-based learning to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of quality control analyst training.”
The submission details the business needs that led to the initiative and why competency-based learning (CBL) was identified as an appropriate solution. It also described: the design of the CBL system and how the necessary learning and performance data were gathered; how the CBL system was developed, including the change management strategies; the initiative s measurable business results; and, finally, a summary of lessons learned and what is next.
On behalf of ILG, Holsworth and ILG CEO Lisa Toenniges accepted the award during ISPI’s 2023 Performance Improvement Conference held in Williamsburg, Va., on April 27.
The Outstanding Human Performance Intervention Award of Excellence recognizes any human performance intervention (HPI), training and/or non-training, except skill or knowledge interventions, for HPI professionals.
