New Project Manager Joins Innovative Learning Group

TROY, Mich., June 16, 2022 — Innovative Learning Group, Inc. (ILG) announced today that Carly Patterson has joined the company as a project manager and instructional designer.

“Carly brings a great deal of expertise in developing and managing large corporate training initiatives from the vendor side,” says CEO Lisa Toenniges. “Additionally, her ability to play a dual role of a project manager and instructional designer makes her a terrific addition to our team.”

Patterson made the switch from a career in journalism to one in learning and performance support more than 10 years ago. She has developed and managed a wide range of learning interventions, including e-learning and blended learning, for a multitude of industries, such as aerospace, automotive, financial services, food service, healthcare, and manufacturing.

Previously, she worked at GP Strategies, based in Maryland, as a senior instructional designer. From 2015-2018, Patterson was a learning designer at U.K.-based LEO Learning.

Patterson has a master’s degree in instructional systems technology from Indiana University Bloomington and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.

Patterson lives in Bloomington, Ind., and will work remotely.
