Programmer and Interactive Media Developer

Innovative Learning Group is looking for individuals to serve as programmers and interactive media developers in a freelance capacity on project-based client work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary responsibilities may include:

  • Programming e-learning course functionality using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and XML
  • Developing content in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Lectora, Captivate, or other similar tools
  • Developing templates that can be easily used by other programmers
  • Quality assurance testing to ensure courses are working properly and meet client standards
  • Integrating e-learning courses with SCORM- or AICC-compliant learning management systems

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have many or all of the following qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of experience in programming
  • Five years of experience with HTML programming
  • Experience programming in several computer languages
  • Experience using sound editing, video editing, and graphic editing software
  • Experience developing content for mobile devices
  • Experience administering and troubleshooting problems with computer systems
  • Ability to learn to use new tools quickly with little assistance/supervision
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field
