Frontline Manager Program: Technical Training

| After conducting extensive focus groups, ILG proposed a creative, highly engaging design to help learners identify challenges they can expect to encounter as a technical leader and strategies for how to respond to those challenges.
A theme running through the course is the reflection of a leader. Real-life scenarios allow learners to explore the impact of leadership decisions on the functional area, direct reports, peers and other functional groups, and broader business results. For each set of leadership challenges, learners click to see a brief video of actual frontline leaders/mentors sharing relevant lessons from their experience. Important concepts are reinforced through additional real-life scenarios to which learners respond and receive rich feedback. In keeping with the theme, self-reflection activities help learners examine their own leadership and create action plans, which includes follow-up discussions with their managers and peers. |
