Eris Noren
As a graphic designer and media developer for Innovative Learning Group, Eris Noren is always looking for ways to use visual design, interaction, and motion to help tell a story.
“No matter who the end users are, creating a great learning experience comes down to solving problems and addressing learning objectives in a meaningful way,” says Eris. “I always try to deliver learning solutions that are practical, elegant, and useful.”
With nearly 30 years of experience in visual design, Eris has created award-winning designs for clients in a variety of industries, including automotive, aviation, business services, consumer goods, hospitality, information technology, medical technology, and retail. He has extensive experience creating animations, illustrations, games, and videos to support learning.
“Online training is an exciting field. I enjoy working with people from multiple industries and helping them achieve their particular vision,” says Eris. “When I begin a new project, my creative machinery kicks into gear, and I start brainstorming strategies and solutions. There’s such a variety of clients, topics, and methods that there’s always something new to learn.”
Eris has presented on creating videos for learning at regional Association for Talent Development (ATD) events, including the Greater Cincinnati ATD Conference and the Central Indiana ATD Learning Summit.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan. Eris also holds a UX and UI Design certificate from Designlab UX Academy and has more than a dozen certificates from LinkedIn Learning and Udemy.
